Custom Quenching
Quench lines and tanks are custom made and tailored to the parts to be quenched. We manufacture automated and customised quenching tanks and lines.
Quench Tanks
Two quenching tanks with different hardening media (only one is shown in the picture) are connected by a tube to ensure greater flood protection. To provide uniform cooling and quenching, each quench tank is equipped with agitators—one with 16 and another with 28—mounted at an angle to ensure better circulation, in addition to the necessary agitation close to all surfaces of the large parts to break the vapour film around them. Pumps supply the cooled medium to the pool at an angle and under pressure, contributing to further circulation and agitation of the medium.

Automated Quenching Line
The complete quenching line for 6-metr-rolled profiles uses polymer and water as quenching media and includes a quenching tank with agitators, electric motor-driven roller conveyors, automated racks for profiles (for safe and soft lay-down of profiles), automated protective clamps to prevent bending (minimum deformation), two 50 m3 tanks, automated pumping systems, heat exchangers, and a Siemens controller.
