Gear reducers are made exclusively to order for special purposes and operations in demanding environments. Our gear reducers are designed for use in the mining industry, in quarries, at ports, in transport systems (especially for bulk materials), in construction, and in machine engineering.
Gear Reducer RP 500 kW
Salus RP 500 kW is a high-torque mining gear reducer, custom-designed and manufactured for drive systems in underground mining, including operation in environments with potential methane presence.
The reducer is specifically engineered to withstand extreme loads typical of mining applications. It can be equipped with explosion-proof components and a drive with explosion protection, making the unit suitable for use in methane mines in accordance with Ex IM2 classification.
The unit is supplied exclusively on a custom basis. Shaft configuration, mounting method, housing sealing, lubrication system, and required mining safety factors are individually determined according to the technical requirements and scope of each project.

The 700 kW gear reducer is a custom-built, heavy-duty mining drive unit designed for drive systems in methane-hazardous underground mines.
The unit is intended for demanding mining operating conditions where high torque, robust construction, and explosion-proof design are required.

Gear Reducer 45 kW
The 45 kW gear reducer is a custom-built prototype mining drive unit designed for use in mining drive lines in methane-hazardous underground mines.
The reducer is engineered to withstand cyclic and shock mining loads, while the configuration of the shaft, couplings, lubrication system, and housing sealing is determined upon order according to the project requirements.
