Cryogenic Freezers
The cryogenic freezer is designed to improve the quality of the hardened layer, resulting in a more uniformly hardened surface, increased hardness, and improved wear resistance of the material. The rolls are cooled utilizing liquid nitrogen, through nozzles and fans, reaching a cooling temperature of -150 °C.
Chamber equipment:
- PLC controller and operating panel with a touchscreen for monitoring essential parameters and adjusting settings as needed.
- Air circulation fan operated by a contactor.
- Valve for the addition of coolant gas.
- Hydraulic mechanism for the opening, closing, and sealing of the cover.
- Heaters for chamber warming, with a power capacity of up to 25 kW.
- Heaters in the seal featuring a specialized design with electrically heated seals.
